Foxford Hills - 2012 Junior Golf Academy
JUNIORS AGE 6 -14
6-DAY JUNIOR GOLF ACADEMY
Juniors 6 to 14 years old are invited to participate in Foxford Hills’ Junior Golf Academy. The junior golf academy has been formatted into a six-day program, where juniors will learn basic fundamentals of the golf swing, putting, irons, driving the ball, and basic golf course etiquette. The various levels follow for your review. If you have a question on which level your junior should be placed in, please set up a time to have our golf professional assess your child.
· BEGINNER - is geared to the young golfer with little or no experience playing the game.
· ADVANCED BEGINNER - is for young golfers that have previously participated in a junior golf program or have a good understanding of basic golf skills.
Cost: $100 Non-Resident / $90 Resident of the Cary Park District
What do you get for being a part of the junior golf academy?
· Six (6) 45 minute group golf lessons with Foxford Hills golf staff.

LITTLE MASTERS TOURNAMENT
6TH ANNUAL
This tournament is for all junior golfers, ages 6 through 18. It will be a 3, 6, or 9-hole tournament. Parents may accompany their junior while they participate in this fun-filled event geared towards getting the family together at the course for an afternoon that includes brief instruction prior to teeing off, golf, dinner and prizes at the completion of the round.
DATE: Friday, July 27th, 2012
TIME: 3:00 – 4:00 P.M. Registration & Instruction
4:15 P.M. – Tee times begin
5:30 – 7:30 P.M. – Dinner & Awards
FORMAT: 3, 6, or 9-hole junior tournament. Number of holes will be based on age or ability. Parents are encouraged to caddy for their junior participants.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday, July 25th, 2012. Entries will be accepted through 2:00 P.M. via mail, fax, or email. Phone entries will not be accepted.
FEE: $50 per player. Includes range balls, brief instruction on driving range, golf, lunch buffet for participant.
Adults or additional family members will be charged $10.00 each for the awards buffet following golf.
