WE ENCOURAGE PARENTS WITH MORE THAN ONE CHILD TO PUT CLUBS ON THE CART AND ALTERNATE WALKING AND RIDING A HOLE WITH EACH CHILD IN YOUR GROUP.

PARENTS MUST ACCOMPANY CHILDREN ON THE GOLF COURSE. EACH PERSON MUST CHECK-IN AT THE GOLF SHOP. EACH CHILD SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN SET OF CLUBS. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD PLEASE ALTERNATE RIDING AND WALKING WITH EACH CHILD IN THE GROUP. THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR PARENTS WHO WANT TO TEACH THEIR CHILD OR CHILDREN THE GAME IN AN ENJOYABLE ENVIRONMENT.NO MORE THAN 3 CHILDREN PER ADULT PER CART. SAFETY IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORTY. PLEASE LIMIT EACH CHILD UP TO 6 SHOTS FROM TEE TO GREEN BEFORE EITHER PICKING BALL UP AND PLACING BALL 15 YARDS FROM GREEN AND CHIPPING BALL ONTO GREEN OR JUST PLACING BALL ON GREEN TO PUTT. MAXIMUM 10 SHOTS PER HOLE. FEE PER ADULT IS $20. CHILDREN UNDER 14 ARE FREE. PLEASE LET FASTER GROUPS PLAY THROUGH.

FOXFORD HILLS GOLF CLUB
LITTLE MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIP
Foxford Hills Golf Club is pleased to announce its first annual Little Masters Championship. The tournament format will be two rounds of 9-hole stroke play, and take place over the course of two days. The championship will be divided into three flights as follows: bronze(ages 8-9), silver (ages 10-11) and gold (ages 12-14). The fee per player will be $60, which will includevgreens fees and hot dog lunch for both days of competition. The tournament will be held on August 18th and 19th. The start time will be 2:30 PM. Pairings will be made at random. Reghistration will be open to the first 20 applicants per age division.
Ages: 8-14 (please specify age group)
Dates & Days: Monday, August 18th and Tuesday, August 19th
Location: Foxford Hills Golf Club
Tournament Fee: $60 (Includes golf and lunch)
Min/Max: Open to the first 20 applicants per age divisions. Minimum of 9 players per age bracket.
Registration: Register at the golf shop starting Monday, August 4th through Tuesday, August 12th. Preliminary field will be set by the 12th of August. After August 12th, if openings are available we will allow additional registration for the event up to Saturday, August 16th.
Prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies will be distributed to the top 3 players in each flight.

Brief Summary of Rules & Regulations:
Regular stroke play event.
USGA Rules apply.
Junior Golfers will go out in groups of 2, 3 or 4 persons dependent upon number of participants in each age level.
Junior Golfers will play from front tees on each hole.
Each individual golfer will be responsible for keeping their own score. At end of round each golfer will need to sign their scorecard and submit score to official scorer at the clubhouse.
Golf course will have rangers on the course as officials. At times, rangers will watch group and confirm/attest score on a hole at will. If score does not match with ranger count, a penalty will be issued or disqualification will occur.
Junior Golfers are required to walk with their bag and must play each hole in 15 minutes. This works out to be 2 hours 15 minutes for 9-holes. If a golfer is not keeping pace, the group will be warned and a 1 shot penalty will be issued to each player in the group. If a junior golfer can be identified as the one not keeping pace that golfer will be issued a penalty.
Junior Golfers are encouraged to use one type of ball throughout the tournament.
Most of all participants are encouraged to have good sportsmanship, fun and compete fair and honestly with the other participants.
Parents are not allowed to speak to players during the event. Parents can walk with their child's group but cannot offer advice or encouragement. General applause for a good shot is allowed. Parents, please remember this is a fun event and encourages the junior golfers love of the game.
